Director of Account Management
Val De Jesus, our bilingual Director of Account Management, has been with the Sullivan team for four years. She’s had the ability to work with an array of different clients, which has allowed her to learn several different facets of the benefits world. She’s adopted a hands on approach with her service and makes sure all of the clients she interacts with receive the Sullivan standard of service.
Val holds a Bachelors Degree in International Affairs with a minor in Communications from The Florida State University and a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Information Systems Management from The University of Tampa. Throughout her time at The University of Tampa, Val had the opportunity to work with local businesses analyzing their business plans, customer services, and overall competitive abilities. These experiences have allowed her to gain a better understanding of business processes, which translates in her work at Sullivan. She has gained skills in client management, reviewing and processing client data, and providing the best service to our clients on a 24/7 basis. Val also holds her Life, Health and Variable Annuity License (215) from the state of Florida.
At Sullivan, Val is part of a team of service representatives that cater to the needs of clients. This includes anything from claim issues, billing inquiries, benefit explanations, one-on-one interactions with employees, and much more. Val takes it upon herself to become familiar with each clients’ specific needs and employees. She is dedicated to serving her clients to the best of her ability and making sure all needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
Originally from Puerto Rico, Val is fluent in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish.
